Insight Global is seeking an AV Engineer for a DoD-focused program at MacDill AFB. You will design, install, test, and maintain advanced AV and video conferencing systems, while supporting Cisco VTC, Teams, and WebEx integrations. The role requires strong cabling, schematic interpretation, and DoD-compliant practices.

Travel to installations and collaboration with senior military leadership are expected. Candidates should have 5+ years of AV integration experience and be capable of working

Qualificações

• 5+ years of AV Engineer experience required.
• Experience with AV systems integration, design & installation, and cabling.
• Certifications such as CTS or DoD-approved credentials are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, install, test, and maintain complex AV systems.

• Pull, terminate, and repair cabling.

• Interface with senior military leadership and end users.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an AV Engineer for a top government technology and defense client supporting a large-scale enterprise IT modernization effort. This individual will join a team responsible for designing, integrating, installing, and maintaining advanced audio/visual and video teleconferencing systems supporting critical operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive AV integration experience, strong cabling and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-visibility environment. This role offers the opportunity to support mission-critical technology, collaborate with technical teams and leadership, and contribute to a long-term program focused on modernizing and sustaining enterprise communications capabilities at MacDill AFB.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of AV Engineer experience
• Experience with:

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Crestron or similar AV platforms
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
• Experience independently supporting customers in fast-paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed for installations, maintenance, and operational support
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with complex AV systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and business tools
• AV/DoD-approved certification such as:
  • CTS
  • SecurityIAT / IAM / IASAE / CSSP certification
• Crestron programming experience
• BiAmp programming experience
• QSC programming experience
• Previous military or DoD environment experience
• Microsoft Visio experience
• CAD design experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Familiarity with Scrumban methodologies
• Experience supporting senior military leadership
