Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our PRIME contract on a fully funded program focused on reverse engineering tooling and AI-assisted development.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You will design and build tooling enhancements for reverse engineering workflows, work with autonomous agents, automate tasks, and collaborate with customers to deliver robust solutions while benefiting from a 100%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 6 years of Application Development experience (4 years with an MS).
• Experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra or IDA Pro.
• Strong low-level concepts knowledge: Linux file formats, assembly, binaries, memory, calling conventions.
• Experience developing tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows.
• Proficiency in Python or C/C++ for tooling.
• Familiarity with AI/LLMs and expanding hands-on AI development experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design and build tooling enhancements for reverse engineering workflows.
• Experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents to support software development.
• Automate common reverse engineering tasks, including analysis and documentation.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to binary analysis, annotation, and pattern identification.
• Collaborate directly with customers and teammates to shape and refine solutions.
• Measure and document the effectiveness of tooling improvements.
