Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking an AI Platform Lead for its largest PRIME contract. The role drives the enterprise LLM-powered platform to support analysts, engineers, and operators across mission domains, balancing mission needs with security and scalability.

You will work with stakeholders to define requirements, guide implementation, and oversee adoption of AI capabilities across the organization, while mentoring diverse engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 12 years of experience in software development.
• Experience building and mentoring engineering teams with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Experience engaging with customers and end users to gather requirements and drive adoption of technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications servicing hundreds to thousands of users.
• Experience designing and implementing agentic workflows or multi-agent systems.
• Experience leveraging AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise agentic platform.
• Lead multiple engineering teams by defining requirements and tracking execution.
• Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource allocation.
• Stay current on AI technologies and best practices, promoting adoption of innovations.
• Conduct outreach and training to promote AI capabilities across the user community.
