Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled ML/AI Engineer to join our Joint Staff CDAO team. You will design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML capabilities within MSS Foundry, enabling automated processing of lessons-learned data and production-grade APIs in secure DoD environments.

You will work with software and data engineers to deploy and monitor models, implement MLOps with Databricks MLflow, and ensure responsible AI, governance, and performance optimization in production missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ML/AI or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML/AI solutions in production.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs, services, and integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML libraries.
• Experience with MLOps and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Databricks MLflow/Workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agentic workflows to automate classification and routing of data.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities within MSS Foundry applications.
• Build robust APIs and services for AI interactions across platforms.
• Utilize Databricks MLOps for model lifecycle management, orchestration, and deployment.
• Establish automated processes for model validation, monitoring, and improvement.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions operate reliably in production environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Monitor production AI/ML systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Apply responsible AI, data governance, and security practices for DoD environments.
