Job summary

STI-TEC, a government-focused contractor, seeks an Access Control Officer to support INSCOM and MSC facilities in the United States. You will process authorized visitors, perform ID checks, and ensure compliance with SOPs and security policies.

You will operate CMS systems like Lenel, maintain logs, issue escort badges, and coordinate with sponsors. Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance and be able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience with security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours and maintain focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage access of personnel and equipment into and out of the facility.
• Use government security equipment, systems, and databases.
• Conduct face-to-face ID checks for building access.
• Document security-related activities and results.
• Issue escort badges to un-cleared personnel.
• Verify visitor clearances in DISS or Scattered Castles.
• Maintain shift logs and sign-in sheets.
• Notify authorities in emergencies and life-threatening situations.
