Job summary

Everforth ECS in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support FBI system portfolios and drive authorization readiness and continuous monitoring. The role requires active TS clearance, 9+ years of experience, and advanced DoD 8140-aligned expertise.

You will coordinate with system owners, ISSEs, CRMU, and other stakeholders, mentoring junior ISSOs and addressing gaps to ensure compliance and readiness.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance.
• 9+ years of experience in information security roles.
• Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (722) of DoD 8140 requirements, with a qualifying degree or certifications.
• At least 7 years as an ISSO/ISSE at a cleared facility; and 9+ years in cyber-related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead security authorization support for FBI systems and portfolios, ensuring authorization readiness and continuity.
• Drive POA&M, continuous monitoring actions, and remediation of documentation gaps.
• Coordinate with system owners, ISSEs, CRMU, and stakeholders; mentor junior ISSOs where applicable.
