Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Software Engineering Manager for Simulation Platforms to grow and lead a high-performing engineering team across multiple US locations, including Seattle. You will partner with the Chief Engineer to define the technical direction, modernize simulation architectures, and oversee project execution in secure, classified environments.

The role requires TS clearance and a strong background in software development, system architecture, and defense-focused simulations.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
5+ years leading software teams, with hiring and scaling track record.
5+ years hands-on software development with complex architectures.
Experience in secure, classified, or air-gapped environments.
Experience writing proposals or scoping for government contracts.
Stakeholder management across government and defense agencies.
Defense simulation experience and multi-simulator federation (preferred).

Responsibilities

Grow, mentor, and scale the engineering team.
Define technical direction with the Chief Engineer and modernize architectures into modular systems.
Maintain relationships with stakeholders across government-owned simulation environments and defense funding, acquisition, and innovation agencies.
Lead the technical writing of proposals to expand the team's footprint.
