Job summary

CenCore Group is seeking an Access Control Officer (ACO) to protect personnel, facilities, and sensitive information at secure government facilities. The role involves access control, visitor processing, screening, credentialing, and incident response in a high-security environment.

Requires active Top Secret clearance (or higher) with polygraph as needed, a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph when required by facility.
• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control access of employees, contractors, visitors, and other authorized personnel.
• Verify badges, credentials, and access authorization before permitting access.
• Prevent unauthorized personnel and prohibited items from entering controlled areas.
• Maintain surveillance and report security incidents per SOPs and Post Orders.
• Operate and troubleshoot access control, screening, and credentialing systems.
• Monitor Security Operations Center activities and coordinate responses to incidents.
• Communicate clearly with Government personnel and other stakeholders.
• Document and maintain accurate security records and logs.
