Naples-based estates and trusts law practice is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join its Naples team. The role focuses on Florida probate, trust settlement, and federal transfer tax filings, ensuring timely, compliant administration for clients and their families.

You will support high-net-worth estate matters, manage administration from asset collection to final distributions, and coordinate deadlines while maintaining client communication in a full-time onsite capacity in

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Florida estate and trust administration.
• Strong understanding of probate, trust, and tax processes, including federal transfer taxes.
• Experience with Florida e-filing systems and probate software.
• Paralegal certificate or formal legal training.

Responsibilities

• Manage estate and trust administration from asset collection through final distributions.
• Prepare inventories, schedules, and accountings from multiple sources.
• Draft probate pleadings and fiduciary documents for review and e-filing.
• Assist in preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, Form 709, Form 1041).
• Coordinate deadlines, monitor case schedules, and support attorneys.
• Maintain clear client communication and liaise between attorneys and families.
• Use legal and tax software to streamline filings and documentation.
• Edit and proofread all work for accuracy and compliance with Florida and federal law.

Overview

This role supports high-net-worth estate and trust matters, with a strong focus on Florida probate, trust settlement, and related federal transfer tax filings, playing a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant administration for clients and their families.

What you'll do

• Manage estate and trust administration from asset collection through final distributions
• Prepare inventories, schedules, and accountings using data from multiple sources
• Draft probate pleadings and fiduciary documents for review and e-filing
• Assist in preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, Form 709, Form 1041)
• Coordinate deadlines, monitor case schedules, and proactively support attorneys
• Maintain clear client communication and serve as liaison between attorneys and families
• Use legal and tax software platforms to streamline filings and documentation

Required qualifications
