Job summary

Matura Farrington partners with a respected California law firm to recruit an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal for its sophisticated private client practice. You will independently manage multiple matters, support attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, probate, and related tax matters, and maintain thorough client documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience within a law firm.
• Strong experience with estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
• Familiarity with estate and gift tax matters.
• Ability to independently manage matters from inception through completion.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Paralegal certificate.

Matura Farrington is working closely with a reputable California law firm in its search for an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support a sophisticated private client practice. This is a substantive, hands-on role for a seasoned paralegal who can independently manage multiple matters while providing a high level of support to attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, and related tax matters
• Assist with post-death trust administration and trust funding
• Prepare and coordinate asset and real property transfers
• Draft estate planning and trust administration documents
• Assist with probate and trust-related court matters
• Review and assist with estate and gift tax filings
• Maintain client and matter documentation and conduct related research
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines with a high degree of independence
