You will draft estate planning documents, manage administration, and communicate with clients and financial institutions. Requirements include a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school, Illinois bar admission, and 1+ year of relevant experience; estate and gift tax returns are a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Illinois and in good standing with ARDC.
• 1+ years of trusts/estates experience.
• Estate and gift tax returns experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney).
• Manage all phases of trust and estate administration, including probate.
• Prepare and review court filings, accounting, and related docs.
• Communicate with clients, fiduciaries, and financial institutions.
• Maintain organized files and timely progression of matters.
• Build strong client relationships and meet needs promptly.
• Stay updated on changes in estate/trust law and advise clients.
