Career Legal in Illinois is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing estate planning practice. You will work closely with a senior partner on a broad range of matters, from estate planning to probate, with opportunities to handle complex matters from start to finish in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of Trusts & Estates experience, a JD from an accredited school, and is licensed to practice in Illinois.

Responsabilidades

• Manage trust and estate administration matters from start to finish.
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization and creditor protection.
• Prepare federal gift tax returns and federal and state estate tax returns.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and guide them through the process.
• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in Trusts & Estates law.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a solid foundation in estate planning and at least two years of relevant experience to grow professionally within a firm respected for its work in the field.

About the Position

You will work closely with a senior partner on a wide variety of matters, including estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate proceedings. You will have the opportunity to handle complex, meaningful matters from start to finish in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage trust and estate administration matters from start to finish
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization, creditor protection, and long-term family goals
• Prepare federal gift tax returns and federal and state estate tax returns
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and guide them through the process
• Draft a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in Trusts & Estates law

Qualifications
