BCG Attorney Search seeks a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney in West Michigan with potential locations in Holland, Grand Rapids, or Kalamazoo. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in estate planning, trust and estate settlement, and related tax and corporate matters, with strong research and writing skills and licensure in Michigan or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• License to practice in Michigan or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning, tax, probate and trust law.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
• Advise clients on tax implications of estate planning to minimize liabilities.
• Handle probate processes, including court proceedings and asset distribution.
• Manage and administer trusts in compliance with laws and agreements.

Skills

Interest in building a book of client

Able to meet physical requirements

Excellent written and verbal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving

Licensed or willing to become licensed

Education
