Job summary

Confidential Employer seeks an experienced trusts and estates attorney for on-site opportunities in Warwick, Pearl River, NY, and Concord, NH. You will draft estate planning documents, advise on wealth preservation, and manage trust and estate administration with a focus on client relationships.

Requirements include 2+ years in trusts and estates, active NY or NH bar admission, and NY admission for NY offices.

Qualifications

• Active New York or New Hampshire bar admission.
• 2+ years of experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, or trust administration.
• Experience drafting legal documents and communicating directly with clients.
• Strong legal writing, research, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with estate taxation, financial planning, probate, or elder law is a plus.
• Additional bar admissions and experience in related practice areas are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related agreements.
• Assist clients with estate planning strategies, wealth preservation, and asset distribution.
• Handle trust and estate administration matters, working with beneficiaries, trustees, and fiduciaries.
• Provide legal guidance on estate-related tax issues and planning considerations.
• Communicate directly with clients, understand their goals, and develop practical legal solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff on estate planning, probate, and related legal matters.
• Manage multiple client matters while maintaining high standards of service, organization, and accuracy.

Job description

Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: We have full-time, on-site opportunities in Warwick, NY; Pearl River, NY; and Concord, NH. Join a welcoming team in an established office where you can collaborate closely with colleagues and build lasting client relationships.

Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of trusts and estates experience and hold an active bar license in the applicable state. New York admission is required for our New York positions, and New Hampshire admission is required for our Concord position. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site.
