Job summary

Saffery LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Director to lead our Trusts team within the Private Client Group, across London and the South, with UK and international trustees. You will drive complex tax matters and fiduciary services for high‑net‑worth clients while shaping strategy and client delivery.

The role offers cross‑office leadership, mentoring of junior staff, and opportunities to represent the firm at industry events.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with broad tax advisory experience.
• Experience leading trust, estates and private client advisory teams.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities to manage cross-office delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UK and international trusts, estates, and high net worth client deliverables.
• Lead on trust tax matters including structuring, restructuring and operational tax.
• Review trust accounts and perform technical reviews on complex cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries and professional bodies (incl. HMRC).
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training on trust taxation.
