Duties:

  1. Develop and implement sophisticated estate plans for high net-worth clients, including wills, trusts, and succession plans.
  2. Provide strategic guidance on international estate matters, addressing cross-border implications and compliance issues.
  3. Collaborate with other legal teams to integrate tax planning strategies into broader corporate and personal financial planning.
  4. Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  5. Supervise junior associates and provide mentorship on complex estate and wealth planning matters.
  6. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation related to trusts and estates.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 6 years of experience in complex domestic and international estate planning.
  2. Proven expertise in related income, partnership, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and multinational families.
  3. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  4. LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred.
  5. Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  6. Strong track record of business development and client acquisition.

Certifications:

  1. Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification is desirable.
