Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions' client in North Central Phoenix is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Tax Manager. This hybrid role (3 in office/2 work from home) offers a base salary of $100,000 to $150,000 depending on experience.

You will lead tax engagements for fiduciary returns (Form 1041, estate tax Form 706), mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years specialized experience in trust and estate tax.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong ethics and integrity; client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings
• Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients
• Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities
• Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and opportunities to clients and prospects, including in-person meetings
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff, and collaborate within integrated team to meet client and firm deadlines
• Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law, and participate in ongoing professional development
• Proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory changes
