H. T. PROF Group is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Tax Manager in North Central Phoenix.

This hybrid role offers a base salary of $100,000–$150,000 depending on experience. You will review fiduciary and estate tax returns and lead engagements for diverse clients, while mentoring junior staff and staying current with tax law changes. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in trust and estate tax, and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041) and estate tax returns (Form 706).
• Lead multiple tax engagements delivering tax prep, research, planning, and consulting services.
• Ensure compliance with fiduciary, tax, and estate laws for trust and estate entities.
• Communicate technical issues and recommendations to clients, including in-person meetings.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and collaborate within the team to meet deadlines.
• Stay current with fiduciary and estate tax law changes and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Proactively improve processes and respond to regulatory changes.
