TrueSeek is seeking an attorney with 2+ years in estate planning and trust administration to draft, administer, and grow lasting client relationships in our Boston practice.
You will draft estate plans from scratch, navigate complex trust matters, and contribute to client longevity. Massachusetts Bar admission is required or willingness to sit for admission; a tax LL.M. is a plus. This is a path to build a durable client book with mentorship from senior attorneys.
We build and protect wealth for families who have spent generations accumulating it. Multi-generational planning, closely held business succession, charitable structures, and the trust and estate administration that follows. Our clients stay with us for decades, and so do their children.
What the role looks like
You will draft, you will administer, and you will sit across the table from the client while you do it. Estate plans built from scratch rather than pulled off a shelf. Trust administration where the assets are complicated and the family dynamics more so. If fiduciary litigation interests you, there is room to grow into it. What you will not do is spend three years as a document processor waiting for someone to introduce you to a client.
Why this seat is open
Succession. Our senior attorneys are planning their own transitions and want someone in place long enough to inherit relationships properly rather than be handed a file list on the way out the door. That is a rare thing in this practice and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The right person here is building a book, not renting one.
What we are looking for
Two or more years in estate planning, trust and estate administration, or both. Comfort drafting core planning documents without a form file holding your hand. Massachusetts admission, or admitted elsewhere and willing to sit. A tax LL.M. is welcome and not required. Beyond that we care whether clients trust you, because in this practice that is most of the job.
What you get
Hours that let you have a life outside this one. Compensation that is competitive and discussed openly rather than dangled. Real mentorship from attorneys who have done this for thirty years and actually enjoy teaching it. And a practice where your work compounds, because the family you help this year calls you again in ten.
