3. Assist clients with Medicaid applications and asset protection strategies.
4. Counsel clients on estate and tax planning, asset preservation, and elder law matters.
5. Provide guidance on trust funding and planning for individuals with special needs.
6. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

1. J.D. from an accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in New York.
3. 5+ years of experience in estate and tax planning, asset preservation, and/or elder law.
4. Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, trust funding, and planning for individuals with special needs.
5. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to approach legal planning with empathy, clarity, and client-focused solutions.
7. Interest or experience in alternative dispute resolution is a plus.
8. A small book of business is welcomed but not required.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
