Sage Haus in West Hartford, CT is seeking a Part-time Household Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support to help run a busy home. This role is 18–23 hours per week, with 3 daytime days and an emphasis on organization, daily routines, and reliable communication.

You will manage households tasks, meal planning and prep, laundry, errands, pet care, and coordinate with vendors as needed, while maintaining a warm, flexible, and trustful partnership with two physician parents and their family.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and evolve household organization systems.
• Complete daily resets: load/unload dishwasher, wipe down surfaces, tidy kitchen, make beds, put items where they belong.
• Prep the home before the weekly cleaning service.
• Sort and store outgrown children's clothing in labeled bins for family hand‑me‑downs.
• Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel.
• Support preparation for hosting events and guests at the home.
• Care for indoor plants.
• Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors.
• Assist with seasonal clothing, décor, and bedding swaps as time allows.
• Wash, fold, and organize laundry for the entire family.
• Handle grocery deliveries and communicate grocery needs.
• Walk the family dog and monitor pet supplies.
• Tackle organizing projects and deep clean as needed.
• Be on-site contact for vendors and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain awareness of the family's calendar and assist with signups and receipts.
