Job summary

Orion Advisor Technology in Omaha, NE is seeking a Trust Services Specialist to handle daily fund and account workflows, including re-registering mutual funds and annuities and updating broker-dealer information.

You'll work hybrid, three or more days on-site, collaborating with CTc advisors and external partners to facilitate transfers, process new account paperwork, verify deposits, and answer client questions while upholding the Orion values.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience; 1–2 years in financial services preferred.
  • Ability to manage client relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Process new account paperwork and asset transfers for new accounts.
  • Re-register mutual funds and annuities with fund or annuity complex.
  • Maintain and update broker-dealer and representative information.
  • Coordinate with advisors and outside companies to facilitate transfers.
  • Perform system demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Ensure cash deposits are accurate and daily reconciliations are performed.

About this Opportunity:As a Trust Services Specialist, you will be responsible for processing daily business for Constellation Trust Company (\"CTC\"). As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.In this role, you'll get to:Work directly with the fund or annuity company to re-register mutual funds and annuitiesUpdate broker dealer and representative information at the fund or annuity complexContinuously in contact with CTC advisors to address new account paperwork issuesDetermine whether client terminations are transfer \"in-kind requests\" or \"liquidations\"Ensure prospectus and proxy fulfillment and post-sale fulfillment is completed by ADPContinuously in contact with CTC advisors, representatives and outside companies to facilitate incoming and outgoing transfersAbility to learn internal and external systems such as Advisor Desktop, Orion Connect , Web Portal, Salesforce, BridgeNet, and Power AgentProcess address changes for CTC clientsWork directly with the advisor to answer questions pertaining to client accounts under ownership of CTCPerform system demonstrations to prospective clientsProcess and follow-up on new account paperwork and asset transfers for new accountsProcess all incoming check contributionsDetermine the contribution type and enters into cash accounting systemConfirm daily cash deposit to ensure correct deposit to the client's accountsDaily contact with advisors to answer questions regarding new accounts and transfersMay perform other duties as required and assignedWe're looking for talent who:Has knowledge of the securities industryPossess good understanding of the securities industryHas minimum of a High school diploma and preferably a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fieldHas minimum of 6 months customer service experiencePreferably has minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industryOwns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization#LI-AP1#LI-Onsite#LI-HybridRecommended Skills:Asset Transfers, Client-Centric, Effective Communication, Innovation, Mutual Funds, Technical Proficiency, Time Management, Trust Services, Work CollaborativelySalary Range:$23.57 - $34.20The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
