Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Trust Relationship Specialist to provide general administrative support to the trust department, handling routine inquiries, documentation, and complex transactions. The role supports client meetings and may mentor junior staff, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and five years of trust-related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years Trust or related experience.
• Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to routine customer and internal account inquiries, with timely follow-up.
• Communicates with clients and internal partners regarding account openings, closings, asset transfers, and fees.
• Creates and maintains proper account documentation and files related material promptly.
• Processes complex Trust transactions in a timely manner.
• May perform complex cash and asset distributions from account closings.
• Performs standard account monitoring and notifies leadership of overdrafts or large balances.
• May forecast client cash needs and provide estimates of liquidity to the relationship team.
• May perform complex research for tax compliance and asset transfer issues.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• May create PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
• Attends client meetings with Trust Officer and supports special projects.
