Position Overview

The AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) division of Autodesk is seeking a dedicated Trust Automation Engineer. This role plays a key part in supporting our overall Trust program and ensuring global efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate with trust team members, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to incorporate effective and comprehensive automation solutions.

As a Trust Automation Engineer, you will drive the design, development, and management of tools, procedures, and integrations within the Autodesk AECO division that improve and augment our trust capabilities. You will provide essential support to the AECO Trust team, playing a critical role in safeguarding the data of our customers, employees, and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation frameworks to enhance security and reliability assurance for AECO.
  • Create custom automations, integrations, and workflows using Slack, Git, Teams, PowerShell, Jira, Zoom, Confluence, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
  • Collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate automation solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure the integrity and security of automated systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated processes and workflows.
  • Develop documentation for automation systems, including detailed test plans and metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software automation and security.
  • Own the design, development, and management of trust tools, workflows, and integrations.
  • Investigate trust systems for improvements.
  • Partner in the creation of educational artifacts to help teams run and leverage your automation creations.
  • Research new technologies and techniques to modify and enhance existing and future automations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development or automation engineering
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, C, or C++
  • Strong understanding of development and trust concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Highly engaged and dynamic communicator via Slack, Teams, Zoom, etc., with a focus on elevating customer trust and building strong relationships across a distributed organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with SRE and SLA/SLI/SLO frameworks
  • Experience with machine learning and data analytics
  • Engaged, dynamic, and active communication style

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,800 and $185,900. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
