Job summary

• Connecticut Bar admission and law license in good standing required or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax, or related practice area preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with clients and professionals.
• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment; able to work independently under deadlines.

Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized Connecticut law firm with offices in Hartford and New Haven and a well-established trusts and estates practice, seeks a self-motivated associate with one to five years of experience drafting wills and trust agreements, settling estates, administering trusts and researching associated tax and other legal issues. Qualified candidates will have exceptional writing ability, demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions and ability to work independently within time sensitive deadlines.
