Job summary

Reid & Riege Attorneys in Connecticut seeks a self-motivated associate with 1–5 years of experience drafting wills and trust agreements, settling estates, administering trusts, and researching tax issues. This attorney will work in our Hartford and New Haven offices in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Qualified candidates will have strong writing ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently within time-sensitive deadlines.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Bar admission in good standing, or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax, or a related practice area preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills and trust agreements, settle estates, and administer trusts.
• Research and advise on tax and related legal issues; ensure deadlines are met.

Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized Connecticut law firm with offices in Hartford and New Haven and a well-established trusts and estates practice, seeks a self-motivated associate with one to five years of experience drafting wills and trust agreements, settling estates, administering trusts and researching associated tax and other legal issues. Qualified candidates will have exceptional writing ability, demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions and ability to work independently within time sensitive deadlines.

Requirements
