Job summary

The Nagler Group is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our Southern New Hampshire Trusts & Estates practice. You will support attorneys across estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters, handling meaningful client interaction and ownership of varied tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in trusts/probate, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with NH probate procedures. Onsite role with opportunity to contribute to a growing team.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of paralegal experience in trusts, estates or probate.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning and probate administration.
  • Familiarity with New Hampshire probate procedures preferred.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, client-facing.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal tech/case management systems.
  • Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred, not required.
  • Estate-related tax filings experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters
  • Prepare and assist with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents
  • Coordinate probate administration, including court filings, inventories, accountings, and notices
  • Assist with trust funding, asset transfers, distributions, and related documentation
  • Prepare and file court documents with deadlines
  • Conduct legal research and assist with estate and trust projects
  • Communicate with clients, financial institutions, courts, and other professionals to gather information
  • Maintain organized client files and track critical deadlines
  • Provide general case management and administrative support to attorneys

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of estate planning and probate administration processes
  • Familiarity with New Hampshire probate procedures strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and client communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology/case management systems
  • Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience with estate-related tax filings is a plus
