gpac seeks a Truss Plant Manager to lead the Montrose, CO plant, driving vision, strategy and leadership to achieve high standards of quality, safety and on-time delivery.

You will manage the plant budget, set long- and short-term goals, and develop staff through training and performance coaching. A strong background in truss manufacturing and process improvements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and related field required.
• 5+ years management experience in truss manufacturing/construction environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and consumer use of trusses.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Knowledge of scheduling and shipping methods.
• Strong judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Management: Oversee all areas of the plant to ensure high standards of quality, safety and service.
• Develops and maintains the plant budget and executes plans to meet it.
• Sets the overall direction for the plant through long- and short-term goal planning.
• Staff Development: Identify and implement training and development programs for all employees; monitor performance and counsel for improvement.
• Production & Scheduling: Ensure production is on schedule, meet delivery timeframes and optimize lead times; partner with Plant Supervisors, Office Coordinators, Customer Service Representatives, Designers and Dispatchers to identify improvements.
• Cost monitoring: Monitor production costs and ensure costs are maintained.
• Inventory Control: Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and accurate; oversee inventory according to policies.
• Safety: Direct and facilitate best practices to meet safety standards; ensure machines and equipment are used and maintained.

• Ensures inventory is properly accounted for and accurate.
• Responsible for properly delegating and overseeing all aspects of inventory according to policies and procedures.
• Safety
• Directs and facilitates best practices to ensure safety standards are met during production.
• Ensures that all machines and equipment are properly used and maintained.
