Job summary

Sunpro in Lindon, Utah is seeking a Truss Laborer to safely construct roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial projects.

You will interpret work orders, measure, cut angles, hammer gusset plates, and operate the roller machine while keeping a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, solid math and measurement skills, and the ability to work as part of a high‑performance production team; physical stamina is essential.

JOB TITLE: Truss Laborer

JOB LOCATION: Lindon, UT

FUNCTION: Construct roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial projects.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Safely construct floor and roof trusses in accordance with customer expectations and company procedures.
• Successfully translate work orders and building instructions into a quality finished product.
• Accurately cut angles in wood for trusses.
• Hammer gusset/plates onto trusses.
• Run trusses into roller machine.
• Move and stack trusses.
• Operate equipment as trained and in accordance to designated safety standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical mathematic and measuring skills.
• Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.
• Repetitive impact motion associated with hammering and other such construction activities.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
