Position Purpose

Designers are responsible for creating detailed plans using Mitek software for roof and floor trusses to be used in construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and design software.

Primary Role Expectations

• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Produce detailed placement plans and truss designs using plans and specifications to meet the customer needs and building codes.
• Produce accurate production ready truss layouts, design drawings, and estimates.
• Support the sales team with excellent customer service (internal and external)
• Work with professional engineers for truss design and repair details.
