Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truss Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise truss designs that meet project specifications, utilizing advanced CAD and drafting software. This role requires a strong understanding of construction systems, structural design, and the ability to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings. • Develop detailed truss designs using CAD software such as Simpson software.
• Create schematic diagrams and technical schematics for manufacturing and construction purposes.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans to generate optimized truss layouts that adhere to safety standards and project requirements.

Skills

• Experience with SketchUp and Bluebeam for modeling and markup purposes.

• Familiarity with graphic design principles applicable to technical presentations.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and mechanical designs accurately.
• Experience with 2D animation or interior design is a plus but not required.
