Overview

We are seeking an experienced Truss Designer with 5+ years of MiTek multifamily design experience to join a well-established structural components team. This role focuses on producing precise, efficient designs for multifamily projects, ensuring structural integrity and field installation ease while meeting customer and code requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and design multifamily roof and floor truss layouts using MiTek design software.
  • Interpret architectural and structural plans to produce accurate truss designs and production drawings.
  • Collaborate with builders, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to deliver cost-effective, code-compliant solutions.
  • Optimize designs for speed, material efficiency, and simplified job site installation.
  • Provide technical support to production and field personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to all building codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Truss Designer using MiTek software in a multifamily design environment.
  • Strong understanding of truss design principles, structural loads, and building codes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
