Job summary

QXO is seeking a hardworking general laborer to support yard operations in Winter Haven, FL. You will assist with loading, staging, and moving building products in outdoor environments, following safety policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates bring reliability, ability to follow instructions, and readiness to work in varying weather. This role may require overtime and physical tasks, with benefits including health care and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, yard, or production environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather.
• May require overtime based on production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Band, secure, and stage trusses and structural components for transportation and storage.
• Ensure trusses are properly aligned and securely fastened according to company standards.
• Inspect straps, banding materials, and securing equipment for wear or damage prior to use.
• Support safe loading and staging processes within yard and production areas.
• Assist with movement and organization of finished trusses and materials.
• Maintain staging areas to support efficient workflow and delivery preparation.
• Perform general labor and cleanup tasks to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support team members and supervisors with operational needs as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings while working around equipment, trailers, and staged materials.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, or operational concerns promptly.
• Ensure products are handled safely to minimize damage and maintain quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• May require overtime or extended hours based on production schedules
