Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Assembler II to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. The role ensures correct parts and supplies are available and maintained for operations, including plates, nails, staples, and fasteners.

The position emphasizes following safety and quality procedures, maintaining records, and participating in safety and CI programs. Candidates should have basic math skills and at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products is required; 1 year of experience or more is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed manner and quality standards.
• Operates presses and machinery in addition to hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and labels/bands components as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
