Job summary

QXO in Fayetteville, NC is hiring for a Component Assembly & Production role within our manufacturing team. You will assemble roof trusses and structural components from drawings, measure and fasten with hand and pneumatic tools, and read production drawings to ensure correct dimensions and assembly.

You'll also stage materials, operate forklifts, monitor workflow, and support safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.
• Mechanical aptitude with use of hand tools and production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof trusses and structural components according to drawings and work orders.
• Measure, mark, align, and fasten lumber and components using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Read production drawings to identify dimensions and assembly requirements.
• Inspect materials for damage and non-conformities.
• Monitor production workflow and assist other areas as needed.
• Operate and maintain production equipment and forklifts safely.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Lead Production Associates and supervisors to meet schedules.
