Job summary

Drexel Building Supply Wrightstown, Wisconsin, United States is seeking a Truss Assembler on 1st shift (6am–2pm). You will operate automated truss-building machinery, read blueprints, and assemble roof and floor trusses for contractors and homeowners.

No prior robotics experience required, just reliability and safety-mindedness. You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, climb heights, and contribute to a team-first culture that emphasizes ownership and employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated truss-building machinery, ensuring precise positioning of pre-cut boards according to blueprint specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs & climb up and down from heights between 2.5-3 ft repeatedly throughout the day.
• Perform quality checks, verify dimensions and accuracy of robotic assembly before moving trusses to the stacker.
• Follow Line Leaders' Instructions and maintain a safe, neat work area.
• Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints and swing a hammer to connect parts at joints.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Defining the Role
