Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a dedicated Truss Assembler in Washington, IA to join a leading building products manufacturer. You will safely assemble trusses, read engineered drawings, and use hand tools to support efficient production.

No prior experience is required; on‑the‑job training is provided. Applicants should be able to lift, stand for long periods, and maintain excellent attendance with a positive attitude. Shift options include 1st and 3rd.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift, squat, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks.
• Experience in framing carpentry or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret engineered drawings.
• Positive attitude, good attendance, and motivation to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safely produce various building products by assembling trusses and other components.
• Sort and organize cut materials for efficient workflow.
• Build trusses using hand tools, both powered and manual.
• Stack finished products for shipment or storage.
• Use hand tools such as hammers and read engineered drawings accurately.

As a Truss Assembler, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

1st Shift - $16

1st Shift - $14, 3rd Shift - $16

Shift:

1st - 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

1st - 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, 3rd - 8:00pm - 5:30 am, Sunday - Thursday
