Job summary

CMC is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, including shipping, receiving, and production, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. The role requires coordinating with the Operations Manager and Plant Manager to reach plant goals and manage a team of drivers and external carriers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong customer service focus, and the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities of Plant including shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental.
• Collaborates with Operations Manager and Plant Manager to achieve plant goals.
• Maintains safety and environmental compliance.
• Manages a team of CMC drivers and external carriers.
• Negotiates freight rates and oversees transportation assets to meet DOT and safety standards.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree preferred

What You'll Do

• Supervises activities of Plant including shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental
