Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Scranton, AR is seeking a Truck Washer Operator to coordinate trailer and tanker washing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

You will operate a yard truck to move 40-foot trailers to washing areas, perform basic maintenance, document information, and communicate clearly with team on A Shift.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months work history listed on the application within the past 24 months.
• Arkansas driver’s license is required.
• Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
• Able to lift 25 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move 40-foot trailers to and from the yard/holding area for washing using a yard truck.
• Maintain a clean work area with soap and high‑pressure water (30+ psi).
• Use basic hand tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Read and follow Tyson policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Document information and communicate with team verbally and in writing.

Location: River Valley Ingredients - Scranton, AR

Base Pay: $19.25

Description:This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

• This position will use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
• This position requires a current Arkansas Driver's License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
• Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
• Must have the ability to document information.
• Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally.

• Prefer trailer experience.
• Minimum 180 day waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times or more will not be considered.
• Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age.
