Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Truck Washer Operator RE01 for the River Valley Ingredients site in Scranton, AR. This role involves coordinating trailer and tanker wash operations, moving 40-foot trailers with a yard truck, and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with Tyson policies.

Candidates must have at least 3 months of work history, be willing to work A, B, C or D shifts, and pass background and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months work history listed on the application with the pst 24 months.
• Prefer trailer experience.
• Minimum 180 day waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times or more will not be considered.
• Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age.
• All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
• Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied.

Responsibilities

• This position will use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
• This position requires a current Arkansas Driver’s License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
• Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
• Must have the ability to document information.
• Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally.

Base Pay: $19.25

Description:

This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

• This position will use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
• This position requires a current Arkansas Driver’s License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
