Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Truck Washer to support our wash bay operations. This role involves pulling trucks and trailers into the wash bay, brushing and spray-washing equipment, and maintaining a clean wash area.

Safety is a top priority; candidates should be able to drive trucks and have a clean MVR. A HS diploma is preferred, but not required. We offer opportunities in a manufacturing environment within Darling Ingredients' circularity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive trucks, trailers and yard equipment.
• Must have clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Pull trucks and trailers into the wash bay.
• Brush and spray-wash all trucks and trailers.
• Cleans out the wash bay.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Truck Washer pulls in trucks and trailers, brushes and spray-washes the equipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive trucks, trailers and yard equipment.
• Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead; can give and take direction.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
