Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Truck Washer in Clinton, IA to pull in trucks and trailers into the wash bay, brush and spray-wash the equipment, and maintain a clean wash area in a safety‑conscious environment.

This position requires reliability and the ability to follow safety rules in a manufacturing setting; preferred experience includes manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural work, plus the capacity to drive yard equipment and maintain a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive trucks, trailers and yard equipment.
• Must have clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Pull trucks and trailers into the wash bay.
• Brush and spray-wash all trucks and trailers.
• Cleans out the wash bay.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead; can give and take direction.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
