Job summary

Prairie Companies in Casper, WY is seeking a Truck Wash & Yard Technician to wash and clean trucks and trailers using a hot water pressure washer, and to jockey equipment between locations. The role supports yard organization, fuel island upkeep, and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start date.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, text, email, and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and remain flexible in a changing work environment.
• Ability to work effectively with team members across different levels and geographies within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean Company trucks and trailers using the Company's hot water pressure washer — this is the primary duty of the role.
• Jockey and move trucks and trailers from one location to another, as directed, including between Company facilities.
• Perform simple preventative maintenance on units, as directed.
• Organize and clean the yard.
• Keep the fuel island and truck wash area and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
• Change furnace and air filters on a monthly basis, or as scheduled.
• Grease all Wyoming tractors on a dedicated, scheduled basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
