Job summary

Marten Transport in New Albany, MS is seeking a Wash Attendant to ensure all tractors arriving at the terminal are clean inside and out, including the engine, cab and sleeper. You will help prepare vehicles for return to service by removing debris and ensuring surfaces are sanitized and presentable.

You will work with drivers and staff to maintain wash bay cleanliness, follow safety procedures, and assist with basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with cleaning products is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash outside of truck.
• Steam spray the engine.
• Clean inside the cab and sleeper including installing new mattress.
• Package the drivers personal belonging in circumstances that the driver is unable to perform this task.
• Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay floors, hoses and drains.
• Other duties as required

Job purpose:

To ensure all tractors coming into the terminal for trade, lease to owner operator, abandonment or any reason the driver is unable to continue driving, will be in the cleanest possible condition both inside and out including the engine.

Abilities/skills required:

High school diploma or equivalent, experience with cleaning products is desireable.
