Truck Wash Technician

Job summary

Marten is seeking a tireless truck wash attendant to ensure tractors arriving at the Beloit terminal are clean, safe, and ready for service. You will wash exteriors, steam the engine, and clean the cab, including installing a new mattress when needed.

Work involves handling drivers’ personal belongings if necessary and maintaining wash bay hygiene. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 lbs and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with cleaning products is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash outside of truck.
• Steam spray the engine.
• Clean inside the cab and sleeper including installing new mattress.
• Package the drivers personal belongings when the driver is unable to.
• Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay floors, hoses and drains.
• Other duties as required.

Job purpose

To ensure all tractors coming into the terminal for trade, lease to owner operator, abandonment or any reason the driver is unable to continue driving, will be in the cleanest possible condition both inside and out including the engine.
