Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. in Manchester, IA, is seeking an Installation Technician for our heavy bay. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly on up-fit equipment for heavy-duty trucks, reading schematics and diagrams to ensure precise installations.

Qualifications

Basic shop math and ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints.
Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
Must be willing to work in a team environment.
Previous experience in manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with weld, assembly processes.
Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work trucks.
Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints; perform shop math; ensure accurate installations and repairs.
Assist with diagnostic and repair work; support wiring and hydraulics knowledge as needed.
