Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, through Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment, is seeking an assembler to upfit trucks, fabricate, repair, maintain and install steel items and equipment on the line.

You will read blueprints and follow engineering drawings, meet production schedules, perform quality checks, document issues, and keep the work area clean and safe while using hand and power tools. High attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic equipment and products under close supervision per SOPs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, BOMs, and other instructions to assemble equipment.
• Meet production schedules and perform quality checks.
• Identify defects and document issues; maintain proper records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
