Job summary

UniFirst Hammond is seeking a Production Team Partner to unload soiled items from service trucks, sort by type, and begin the daily production process. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a 40-hour workweek with weekends off.

You'll work closely with a team in a safe, inclusive environment, receive benefits including health insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and a 30% employee discount, and have opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and push carts up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.

Responsibilities

• Unload soiled products from trucks
• Separate products by type
• Weigh soiled products and hoist/store until next process
• Handle reductions and/or modifications to the customer's account (either adding or removing product)
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
