Responsibilities

• Consults with driver to collect information on vehicle history, problem, and required maintenance or repairs.
• Identifies mechanical problems visually and with diagnostic equipment.
• Performs tests on parts and systems to verify proper operation.
• Examines critical parts and systems using standard checklists.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems such as brakes, belts, water pumps.
• Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics.
• Confirms repairs are properly completed and problems resolved.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
