Al Warren Oil Company is seeking a Truck & Trailer Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company tractors, tanker trailers, and related equipment. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and reliability in a busy shop environment.

The position requires experience with diesel engines, DOT inspections, and the ability to diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a truck and trailer mechanic preferred.
• Experience working on diesel engines and tanker trailers strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT inspection requirements and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Must have own basic mechanic tools.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy components and work in a shop environment.

• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with drivers, operations, and other shop personnel.
• Respond to breakdowns or emergency repairs when needed.
